My Background

Business development professional with a track record of growth in sales and market share. Successes include launching and growing a small startup as a business owner, as well as leading strategic sales and business development activities for two divisions of a large multinational company. I take a consultative approach to sales and keep an eye on long-term relationship building.

My true "super power" is in organizing and leading high performance teams. I have had the pleasure of managing a number of interdisciplinary teams (e.g. engineering, sales, marketing, project management, etc.), and participating in the growth and success of numerous individuals. Whether it's developing teams from scratch, or managing existing work groups, I firmly believe in a collaborative approach that helps people capitalize on their own talents and potential. At heart, I am an entrepreneur and thoroughly enjoy bringing that spirit to any organization with which I work.

Lead regional and national sales efforts. Plan, organize, recruit, develop, and lead high performance sales and business development teams. Educate industry and technical experts and execute consultative sales strategies.

In my experience, sales team success starts with well defined goals beyond pure revenue generation, as well as clearly articulated processes, roles, and higher level objectives.

For more than nineteen years, I have worked with multiple companies, including my own startup, in various industries as an individual producer and team leader to provide:

Successfully completed the Construction Document Technologist exam, including a comprehensive program of study with the Construction Specifications Institute, demonstrating knowledge of writing, interpreting, enforcing, and managing construction documents.
